Classes and private lessons are held at Bury Farm House, The Bury, Saint Pauls Walden, Hitchin, Herts SG4 8BP, which is east of Stevenage, South of Hitchin, North of Codicote and East of Luton.  The Bury is between the small Hamlett of Saint Paul's Walden and the village of Whitwell.

For detailed directions type in the post code SG4 8BP into multimap or aaroute finder.  Sat Nav systems will take you directly into "The Bury" Private Estate if you put in the postcode SG4 8BP.  Once in the estate you will need to follow directions below.  You are likely to be directed "The Pretty Route" regardless of the direction you come in from.

From Whitwell (The Quick Route):

Take the B651 towards St Paul's Walden and Hitchin.  After a quarter of a mile turn left into "The Bury".  There is no sign on the drive.  After 100 metres you join the drive from "The Pretty Route", continue up the hill.

From St Paul's Walden (The Pretty Route):

Continue on the B651 through the St Paul's Walden, passing the pub, "The Strathmore Arms" to your left.  Leave St Paul's Walden, still on the B651, pass a sign on a driveway "The Boothy" to your right and then slow right down before the road bears to the right.  This is about a quarter of a mile from St Paul's Walden.  Immediately turn left, on the corner into "The Bury".  There is a wooden box often containing an A4 sign saying The Bury at the entrance or details of a forthcomming event.

Follow the drive up the hill and bear left when the drive forks after 150 metres.  After about a quarter of a mile you will see the tarmac drive of "The quick route" joining you on the left.  Bear right up the hill.

Near the top of the hill follow the drive around the Statue, ignoring the right hand turning into the stately home.  Follow the drive through some trees ignoring the second right hand turning into the renovated old stables.  With the horses field in front of you follow the drive to the right.  After 20 metres you will see a sign "Bury Farm" towards your right on the fence.  Turn right in front of the sign, and park behind the Farm House, on your left, by the back door.  The doorbell is on the back door.

Busses stop in Whitwell, and you can walk up the track near the post office (signed St Paul's Walden).  Phone first for details as it is private property and not a public footpath all the way.  It is often muddy! It is a 10 minute walk from the Post Office

You may be able to persuade the bus driver to stop near the quick route entrance, but this is not a bus stop so for saftey's sake he may refuse and drop you in St Paul's Walden or Whitwell.  There is no pavement on the B651 from St Paul's Walden to The Bury.
